Not a Suggestion...But an Idea! (1 Viewer)

Would it be Cool  or What if Andy made German Gestapo figures getting shot ??

They could go with the new resistance fighters !! I think that could be a big seller !!

I would buy a set of "good" (i.e. dead or dying) Gestapo figures.

Guys

Maybe a mini set (two or three figures) at a Cafe Table ! :D

I can hear the bullets flying by now !! blam...blam...blam

How about if Andy made some civilian figures for WW2?:D:eek::D:cool:

I think they'd mix really well with the new French resistance figures, like civilians about to be shot and the resistance saving them:D:D:D:D:cool::eek:

I too agree. I thought the same. However, I think Andy is unlikely to produce them. I suppose it depends on how well these FFI guys sell. I do like the FFI guy getting ready to blow a charge. How many times have we seen that in movies, etc??..A nicely done figure IMO.

Bring on more Civilians.....

What's with the helmets on the FFI guys:):confused:

And can I just say I'm sorry for what I said, I wasn't feeling well that day:eek:and as soon as I went of the computer I fell asleep because I was so tired:eek:, I'm sorry for anyones feelings being hurt, and I hope you all can accept my apology:D:cool::)

''No one gets left behind!'':D

Water under the bridge, young man, and I call you man because you were mature enough to appologize.

Scott,
The figures look like they are representative of the "Maquis" (spelling looks wrong) who were semi-autonomous, almost like a clandestine militia force.

Cheers

:D:D:D Brilliant. That's a good example of what I mean when I drone on and on about the UK degenerating into a Police State.

I really like them as well Rob, but the release was completely unexpected (to me anyway), and like you I've already committed myself to buying other stuff first. While I think it is a bit of a niche series, it does have definite expansion possibilities. With slight resculpts and repaints, they could depict Dutch, Yugoslav, Italian or even Cretan Partisans.

Errr... I don't see what the problem with that is.....:D:p

Simon
(20 years and never once done someone for speeding - and that's alot more difficult than you might think!)

Okay Simon point taken - but - how many burglars, rapists, GBH'ers, etc. get their collars felt in proportion to the amount of non-personal injury criminals who find themselves in the dock.
And just to be perfectly clear, when I'm drivelling on about a Police State, I'm not actually referring to the good old British Bobby. I'm really talking about for example; those jumped-up security guards at airports (if that's not jobs for the boys then I don't know what is) - and all the other busybodies that permeate the British lifestyle these days. Its the nonsense of young kids being cautioned for playing hopscotch in the streets that wind me up.
Yes, we need security at airports, of course we do. But what's the point of removing your shoes and belt - even though they're not going to set off an alarm? And what's that take your laptop out of its bag before screening bollocks all about?
Maybe I'm just a failed hippy who ought to escape back to the 1970's and 1980's.

Best Regards Though

H,
Just messing mate, I knew what you meant.
For what it's worth, I really don't like speed cameras either. Even more so about 4 days after I've just been flashed by one, when the nice letter arrives on your door mat, and I agree, some of our laws and procedures do need a serious reality check.
Cheers

I have to agree that my wonderful country is being ruined by big brother and petty minded officials who cannot look beyond their absurd rule books and appreciate the human experience. And here is a classic example.

The county council send people out to mend holes in the road.First someone sprays Yellow spray paint around the holes for the road workers to identify and fill in holes that need doing.Up in Yorkshire someone who has become known as the Night time Robin Hood (who is fed up with paying his council tax and not having the roads mended)has been going out in the middle of the night and spraying Yellow paint around holes he thinks need doing. The council then come along in the morning and fill in the holes!.This has caused much amusement and an increase in road repairs in the area. But the council say if they catch him he will be sent to jail!!!!.What on earth is it coming to with prison overcrowding, yobs on the streets, kids being shot down in the street that the council and Police are seriously trying to catch this night time prankster. The worlds gone mad.

Agreed....Agreed....Agreed.
I am in fact VERY proud (maybe a bit too much) that I'm British/Scottish, but to be quite honest, its a country I no longer feel comfortable in. Certainly not the country I grew up in.
