wanted britains napoleonics (1 Viewer)

hello to all reading my first post,
iv'e just started this hobby and have fell for the britains napoleonics range been picking a few up off ebay but some of the sellers on there are asking silly money looking to make a quick $ - £££££££££
so if anyone has some sets there looking at selling or if you could give me a push in the rigth direction as to where to look on the net then please let me know.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the prices on certain Britains (older, pre First Gear) Napoleonics are steadily going up. You will just have to get lucky and have patience. The cannon sets are especially expensive, I know I averaged a $125 on each and that appears to be a bargain now. I still need some pieces myself that are proving difficult.

Patience is truly a virtue in this case!!! By the way, vectis direct's website has a ton of this stuff (All older Britains on it). Now I use them as the market ceiling, although I got a few bargains here and there. But , good site for reference. Now the prices they show b/c of your strong currency may be good for you, but I would be VAT kills the deal on the back end.

Have you tried Maison Militaire or Henley Model Miniatures? Also if you go to the Britains website http://www.wbritain.com and look under the Retail Locator on the left hand side, you can find a list of Britains stockists in the UK.
