I was looking at my curios the other day and decided to count the individual figures to see how many I actually have. Since I am a rather new collector, my number of figures isnt too high ;) I have currently 214 figures to date. That will be changing this weekend when I pick up some more MG figures from my dealer. So, how many figures do you all have? This should be fun, I bet Louis B. will have to get out an adding machine :D

Are you just talking figures or do you want to include vehicles and buildings.

It may actually be easier to ask how many sets do you have?

NO, just count em:) Since some are sold as singles, just count em. I am just talking figures I didnt include my tanks or other vehicles.

I wish I had the time. I'm guessing somewhere (total wild guess mind you) around 1,000. For some reason, I was counting how many Seaforth Highlander figures I had the other day and I came up with 45 or so.

You Better Start Looking For A Few More Curios, And A Few Bookcases And A Couple Of 8ft Tables And Once You Procure These I Would Say That From Experience That That Would Take You Up To About 3500 Figures, Near 200 Tanks And Guns And A Few Dozen Buildings. At That Point It Would Be Safe To Say That You Have Maxed Out Which Will Distress You Because You Will Still Have The Itch To Collect And Not Sell But With All The Great Stuff Coming Out You Will Be In Quite A Dilemma. The Good News Is That You Will Have A Great Time Getting There. Good Luck!

hey, i almost forgot, you got to have a lot of room to store those boxes, i myself have just purchased the conte dday church set and i"m really going to be scratching on where to put it.

Enough to fill an 800 square foot museum (basically all but 23 or so K&C ever produced, up to the last few releases, which I am working on getting on an as I can afford basis).

Room has just became an issue for me....currently I have display cabinets in my dining room which are tastfully done but close to being crowded..they still look nice.....if I add anymore it will start to look like garbage which will defeat all that I have tried to aspire to.....I refuse to buy and stick away in a closet, I don't want to add to another room and I still want to collect my chosen range.....I'm a little concened about it to tell you the truth....... Anyone else have this problem......too much of a good thing can wreck it!!!!!

WELLIINGTON

Louis...is that all ranges?

WELLINGTON

Sorry, I should have been more specific. That's all the originally glossy figures, but once you switch over to the matt stuff, I don't collect Napoleonics, LAH, WWI, AWI or the Old West.

I went back and did a rough count. I guess it's around 900...and counting!

I had an issue with display space but hope to have that solved soon. I am redoing a spare bedroom and hope to add several display cases. I currently have somewhere around 300 figures but that number will have to at least double to fill up all the empty shelves:D:)!!!!

Not nearly enough is my immediate answer - and not nearly enough money either - nor enough space to display them in and store the empty boxes which must be kept for resale/transportation purposes, should either eventuality arise.

I tend to count sets of figures as individual figures, architectural etc. pieces as one piece, even if it's made up of component parts, vehicles as one piece and any separate figures that come with them as individual pieces, 1/2 figures are counted in with the vehicle, as are figures that are physically fixed in place - eg the Panzer Meyer sdkfz, for me, would count as 3 pieces, as would the prime mover because the driver is removeable and the model would look no worse for him not being there.

Having said all that, I now need to go home and count them - but it's still less than 100 pieces to date - refer to paragraph one -

Now You Got Me Wondering So I Had To Go Count The Actual Figures. I Can't Believe I Have Actually Obtained 1081 Figures. I Have Been At It For 12yrs. Another 200 Fifures And I Will Pass My Real Passion Which Was Trophy. With All These Multiple Releases Coming From Kc I Could See Where Some People Could Build A 1000 Piece Collection In Only A Couple Years. My Question Is How Long Has It Taken Some Of You Other Guys Or Gals To Build Your Collections?

hello, i started collecting k&c in 2006 when the crusaders came out. and now i have about 200 crusaders/sarcens in my collection. it does not compare to the amount most of you all have! it's a start. isn't it fun to build armies?

If I counted, it might cause illness, so I respectfully refuse. I know its way too many and that is just K&C.

I went back and thought about my Britains.....that causes a stroke.

Trophy would only cause a backache

Tradition would cause a heavier backache.

Imperial is ........ Tommy Atkins....Fusilier..Steadfast..Marlborough..Beau OUCH

See where this is heading. One big Fred Sanford.....(sanford and son tv sitcom inside joke for anybody who missed it)
