It's a bit sweet and sour
I lost my job a few months ago but I still want to buy K&C
Since then there is is nothing to buy that I collect
Every release I want something to buy, but so far I don't want it
Just give me NAP's WW1 or Falklands please.
I love the English WW2 new D day but I can't get in to WW2 (I would have to sell my house then)
Anyway, that's my sound off. Love the fact that K&C do it every month. Respect

Feel for you, hopefully work and income are just around the corner. Found this hobby very comforting last year with so many restrictions to movement, this forum was a lifeline to the bigger world. In a way you are lucky that no release at the moment grabs you. For me there would be a dilemma if I had to watch something go by that I really wanted, but I could not find the money to secure it. We are spoilt for choice these days, just need the money to match. Best of luck. Robin.

Cheers mate.
I think if it come up I would buy it. Worry about it later. Always sell the car or the wife. Not in that order{sm4}
I was lucky as I collect ACW and the re-releases I already had.
Now I've got time I'm going to post some photos soon.

Hi there!
Sorry to hear of you losing your job…especially at this time…apologies also that there is nothing for you to buy in our entire range of 'Napoleonics' or 'WW1'…Does that mean you already have virtually all of the figures in both of these very extensive ranges..? Or just those particular ones that are of interest to you..?

Because of your present circumstances I would totally understand you not purchasing anything at all…After all toy soldiers, no matter what they are, ain't gonna feed you.

Re our 'Falklands' figures…still completing 'master-carving' so not able to provide more details just yet.

Sincerely hope however your job prospects improve as we slowly [very slowly] get back to some kind of normality…In the meantime, the best of luck going forward,
Andy.

Mate, really sorry to hear about your job loss. Certainly getting back on that horse and finding employment is the priority.

As someone who collects on a tight budget I wouldn't dismiss WW2 as an option, especially given K&Cs recent 'end of run remainders'.

With a little imagination its amazing what you can do with just 2 or 3 figures.

A great example are Andy's outstanding 'discounted' Brit WW2 Commandos. These really are great figures.

Collecting WW2 doesn't have to cost a mortgage.

Hang in there and good luck with the job hunting.:salute::

Thanks Andy, Hopefully looking good for work next month when the rules change.
I only posted this as a conversation starter as other people might be in the same boat.
I've got lots of NAPS and WW1 but not all. Only the ones for my three displays. I would need another room for all the others. Wish I could buy them all. I'm slowly selling my WB's to buy more K&C
Thanks for the info about the Falklands and the kind words

Thanks mate,
I do like them. Tempted. Also, it's such good service buying direct from K&C. I'll see what happens in June

Good luck with the job seeking. For myself, I'm thinking of packing it in and retiring early sometime in the next twelve months, just have to delve in deeper to see what the finances would look like if I do.

Thanks. Retiring sounds good. Good luck.
I'm thinking of becoming an international playboy. They are old, fat and rich. I'm two thirds there {sm4}
