TM Terrain does the Franco Prussian War (7 Viewers)

In addition to the portion of the French Town diorama I am assembling primarily out of Hudson & Allen diorama materials, with the assistance of our good friend George (Warrior), I am having Dave of TM Terrain custom make me a church and churchyard diorama to complete the village scene. Here is the first progress photo George forwarded me, along with a shot of the village diorama as currently constituted, peopled with Team and First Legion Franco Prussian War troops:

The diorama arrived safely, and my son brought it up to where it will be displayed with the Hudson & Allen Franco Prussian War diorama I have been building. Once I am feeling up to going upstairs (my dang back has been acting up again:redface2 and the two dioramas are placed together and rearranged, I will have Alec take some photos and post them.:salute::

Congratulations Louis! The diorama came out perfect. David is so supremely talented. He really nailed the feel of the structure and grounds. I love the entry gate section. Man, what a masterpiece. Thanks for sharing the photos, and I hope your back heals soon.

I finally felt good enough to get upstairs today, and Alec and I arranged the portion of the diorama we have (the remaining Hudson & Allen modular bases are shipping out tomorrow, one of them custom with a working gate, as are some more of the burning European town backdrops), and Alec took a few progress photos:

All of the H&A bases I ordered finally arrived. We have fully fit together the basic diorama on the floor (I am having a contractor build a shelf to permanently display it on, at which time I will add some gravel and rubble to better disguise the joints between the modular base sections and the TM Terrain Church diorama). Alec took some photos of the diorama with all of the base pieces in place:

Wow Louis, you have the best diorama on the forum. I have a few of the H n A walls, I will have to get that working gate fence piece. It’s great to have walls for the figures to use as shelter but the figures need to interact as well.
