Has anyone attempted a Texas Ranger/Comanche/Mexican range? Just reading the wonderful Lonesome Dove books and couldn’t see that a specific range had ever been produced.

I must admit that if someone were to produce it then the prolific JJ would personally be my first choice. Who wouldn’t want a Buffalo Hump in their collection?!

I don't suppose many people have read the books on this forum, I haven't but did enjoy the Mini series on TV.

Like K&C's take or not they've been long since sold out and retired. There is a fellow treefrogger who is asking if anyone has that set to sell at this very moment posted on the forum today !

I agree with Andy, all Toy Soldiers are made to look like 'something', the general Toy Soldier, Tanks and Vehicles are made to look like historical acccurate representations of something that was real.

I tend not to buy the Film/TV sets, but i appreciate them for the great releases they are, same with actually historical figures, Hitler, Napoleon, Churchill etc, do not buy many, but they are great realistic representations. I think i have 2 Monty figures [Desert and Normandy], a Rommel figure and the EA SAS named officers, plus quite a few pilots from the LUft and RAF ranges. As they go well in the dioramas i have, I think Andy did an excellent job with those. So good luck and more power to your elbow for releasing these, great editions for people who want to collect them and also has the potential to bring new customers and sales, as people may not collect Toy Soldiers but be interested in the era, Film/TV series or books, do buy them.

Hi

Have read nearly all the Lone Dove books and also have a large collection of Edge and Steele western books, plus a lot of L L'Armour Western books. Which i read, mainly 4 -6 a year as have a lot of other stuff to read. Great artwork on the earlier releases of the books and these would be great names and templated for future US Western releases.
