 Just seen the AK039,Tunisian Tiger I, and DISSAPOINTED with the SIZE! Some Collectors Bragg , about that it was HUGE; but from my Point it has a WS79-Michael Witman Chasis and a ONLY a Larger Turret? I will hopefully Show, on Treefrog my TUNISIAN Tiger I, and Compare Difference is Size with K & C! I'm Hoping that, the 'NEW' Panzer IV K & C is a Wee-Bit Larger also? Lately, I've Notice that the NEW WW2 Sets is getting Smaller!

Ok, I have to ask;
1.) Where did you see it "live" exactly.
2.) WS 79 is the Hummel, not the Tiger.
3.) What Tiger I are you going to show us, ie, what manufacturer.
4.) The Mark IV is true 1/30th scale, it looks awesome.
5.) Honest to God John, I have never once heard you say anything positive about anything you buy, so it's a mystery as to why you keep torturing yourself with this hobby.
6.) What other K & C items do you consider to be small?
7.) That's enough, my brain hurts now.

I have the Tunasian Tiger and the earlier Wittmann tank, your wrong the Tunasian Tiger scale is PREFECT, larger and correct for the figures.

Just had to chime in.

How long have you been left twisting in the wind on that one Andy?

About 95% of forum members want 1/32 and or 1/30 figures. Perhaps you should switch to 1/18 if you want larger models because 1/25 military models are few and far between.

John wants things bigger , like 1/25, does anybody wants things smaller like nearer 1/32 or 1/35? the smaller size would make K&C more 'nearly' compatible with other ranges and some of their alternative offerings like trains and naval craft that K&C don't do , K&C did originally have 1/32 on the side of their box as the size of their vehicles,so at some stage they must have considered scaling the vechicles back, like the warbirds which are 1/32.
so rather than bigger does anybody prefer smaller:D

John , as regards the tiger , the footprint for the tiger dosen't seem much bigger but it is much better proportioned on top

I'm sorry....But WHAT are you talking about????? The scale of both the Tunsian Tiger as well as the Panzer IV are very accurate and I may I add very well done.........They are both a huge step up in quality for K/C.....

1/32 is the most popular military figure scale and now that technology has allowed better detail that scale should expand further. For example K & C have said they intend to be 1/32 scale across their range except for their WWII items. The later is to remain at 1/30, although some members have noted a few "small" 1/30 WWII figures from them recently, but no major differences imo.

I/35 is the standard plastic military kit scale and that market is saturated making it hard for diecast to compete, Minichamps etc have had some success.

I have found that younger collectors are more into the larger models from say 1/25 and there are dedicated forums for these guys where 1/18 seems to be the most popular.

I just got the Witman Tiger and must say I am surprised at how much smaller it looks next to the Tunisa Tiger. I think the Tunisa Tiger and new Panzer IV are great. Why is everbody so concerned about scale? So what if some of the older pieces are smaller. I will still collect them and add them to my collection whenever I get the chance.

Well said that man.
As long as the scale difference isn't ridiculous, then all this nit-picking is just so much MINCE.....!!!!

Most guys aren't fussy when they first start collecting. Usually they become more discerning with scales and detail as they gain more knowledge and experience, but some don't.

The Tunisian Tiger is one of the Tanks i like most of all.Its size, the battered look of it and the crew all make for an outstanding set for me.

I think the Ak tiger looks good and the scale looks pretty good
to my finely tuned eye ;) .What Johns larger K and C figures realy
need is "eagle eyes " like action man back in the day. [ a scar on the
face wouldnt hurt either .:).
