On the K & C "Trainspotting" thread it says Gordon hand made the train which I assumed was from scratch rather than a model kit.

It really is a class dio isn't it.Some fantastic work by Gordon there,he is without doubt the master of his craft.I hope one day perhaps we may see some of these wonderful dios in a ref book.

I also very much like that Hetzer painted in the different version,i'd buy one of those in a heartbeat.

Andy confirmed that the train engine in the diorama was scratch built by Gordon. The whole diorama took Gordon 5 weeks to make and is priced accordingly.
