  • Yes - the English archers are an immediate buy for me, along with the 2 mounted Templars and the wounded Templar set. I have been asking for English longbow archers for over a year - will probably get multiples of that set. Alas, no camel mounted Saracens though.

Just after I replied to you message I went to the K&C site and took a look. Oh my goodness!!!! September could get expensive. ENGLISH ARCHERS!!!!! Finally. MOre Templars! And 3 campaign tents - wow.

I've seen the new campaign tent with knight and squire, Titus - nothing else though. The tent set is very nice looking. I am also interested in the new desert buildings that K&C recently announced they will be releasing soon.

    Best wishes

Thank you Titus - I am glad you enjoyed the albums. I eventually plan to build proper dioramas for my Hougoumont and Rorke's Drift figures similar to what I have created for my K&C Crusaders.

Hello Titus. I stopped by for a quick visit. Enjoyed the pictures in your albums. Of course I thought your Zulu pics were great. I was surprised not to see any pics of your Naps.

In a few months - right now I have been catching up on some retired items in K&C and buying more John Jenkins. I do love the Red Lancers and plan to get them !
Well JG I went and did it this time. I found a really really good deal on Britains 17878 Hougoumont Chateau North Gate, 17880 Hougoumont Well, 17908 Straight Wall set, and 17909 Wall & Gate set. All mint/new in original boxes. Couldn't pass them up, especailly knowing that they are retired. I have always thought that Britains had some of the best diorama pieces on the market for their selected ranges. Tally Ho!

Ah shucks, you figured out my plan. Yes I believe I might have been bitten a wee bit by the Napoleonic bug. I told myself I would not go beyond the Crusades, but I must say those new 42nd Highlanders and 4th French Lancers by Britains really look superb. I have even gone and joined the Napoleonic Social group. Oh well, as my wife said, "You're off on another tangent dear, just took longer than I expected"

Could have sworn you were on my Friend's List - will have to remedy that.

    Cheers! Mike
