Elefant on the Move (1 Viewer)

My First Legion Elefant came yesterday and it is an absolutely gorgeous model!

Prior to its arrival, I’d been thinking of a variety of different ways to display it and ultimately decided on a rather simple display of the vehicle on the move somewhere in western Ukraine during the summer of 1944. The crew figures are FL with a War Park figure. I decided to use some of my FL Normandy Heer Panzer Grenadiers to accompany the tank as they’re basically what Heer Panzer Grenadiers on the Eastern Front would have also looked during the same period.

Again, I can’t say enough about what a great job First Legion did with their Elefant! It was totally worth the wait

And there it is in all its glory. What a fine looking beast of a machine, very nicely displayed. If they had supporting troops like you have here, they wouldn’t had lost so many of these tanks in the Kursk tank battle. Robin.

Thanks every for the likes and kind comments! I think First Legion really knocked it out of the park with their Elefant! I can’t wait to see the upcoming crew figures for it as well, though the TC012 figures I’ve got with mine are a very nice fit… Wayne, the Elefants are selling quickly worldwide so make sure you get yours sooner than later!

sadly, I procrastinated on that decision and will need to live vicariously through you and the collectors on the board via your posts with this beast

I’m sorry to hear that Mike! Hopefully you’ll eventually be able to find one on the secondary market. I’m still waiting for the replacement for my busted FL Hetzer and not sure I’ll ever see that…
