I’m still trying to figure out what he was promoting. Our friend is active over at Planet Figure now, too. He seems to have drawn the lesson to stick to promoting his product and avoid getting lost in the weeds about other topics.
I wondered if we'd see a third incarnation here.
Prost!

Yes, I was about to say that about him Matt, in that mostly promoting himself seems to be his main interest, he certainly has a huge ego, perhaps that's why he comes across as a complete tosser. His new forum name on Planet Figure is 'Mnr Maxime Chevallier Esq', sounds very special. Let's see how long he lasts there this time, he has been banned there before.
From what I've seen he mostly just promotes himself, he says he's about to release this, that, or whatever. However when it's obvious no one is able to purchase anything from him he blames loss of emails, internet, PC hackers, worn molds, lost molds, dishonest dealers, naughty collectors and everything else, including inclement weather, as apparently Hot days are no fun when casting melted metalWhat a surprise

Fleubaix was never a serious competitor IMO, it had a slow start, inadequate promotion and soon got a poor reputation for amatuer painting and slow or non delivery of orders. Several collectors in Australia and overseas were ripped off but may not wish to make that public.Serious question. Were Fleurbaix Toy Soldiers and Father Greg ever a serious business down under? From the 2000-2020 period the only local makers of 54mm kits I recall were Wilson Edwards and Ozmade. I only became aware of Fleurbaix through Max's angry posts and don't really recall ever seeing them apart from some Ebay listings.
