What Toy Soldier items Have You Acquired in The Last 2 Weeks ? (8 Viewers)

K&C's Sharpe's 95th Rifles and the last three French infantryman I was missing arrived in the post today.

I should be getting another parcel from K&C Hong Kong on Monday.

These arrived in the post today. Some First World War Australians, Second World War Japanese, Eighth Army, and D-Day are included.

Nice additions Brendan. You are starting the new year off with a bang. Good for you.

Well done Pats 👍🏻👏🏻
The Chariots look impressive and must have caused quite a chaotic battlefield when deployed and you've managed to capture that movement with your display.

Wow what a mix. Love the no stands 8th Army set and the Aussie WW1 chaps are excellent. The scrap with the jap set is a stand-out, although I really like those Brit tankers and bloke with the 303. You've done well....

Suddenly realizing that the JJD Anglo-Zulu War figures were quickly being retired and hard to find, I jumped onto the band wagon and collected everything in these photos in the past 10 days. Quite a few of these (especially the Zulus) were the last ones in stock when I found them.

Look stunning, for a few years the Zulu Wars range was a bit of a backwater and there were very few releases, but John, and T Gunn to a lesser extent, have bought out quite a lot of sets and brought it back to life.

Very nice Mike. If I was starting all over again with Zulu, JJD would be filling my ranks exclusively. Such great sculpts. Robin.

THX. I would say that the Anglo-Zulu War range is alive and well for the foreseeable future.

Thank you Robin. And to think, years ago I had a very large collection of WB Zulu figures and buildings. Then I sold them all to move on to newer interests. Now I'm starting all over but so glad to do it. John's figures are over the top.

Agree, together with the new T Gunn figures i have been thinking it would nice to maybe drop back into the Zulu era, there is so much i would like to collect, but i have the 2 biggeest issues - Finances and Space. Have recently picked up 2 of JJD Corsairs, now i have the trio, have 23 deck crew figures, will look at collecting a few more of those to service the 3 aircraft. Will complete my Refugee and Settler group, 12 more Vikings required, only 1 Saxon, 5 more Almoravids, 21 more Greeks/Trojans and the new WW2 armour is some of the best i have seen in a long time. That is without the new Jacobites, only have 3 of the new ones, have all the old ones, the French figures in that range are understated and really nice.

Have a cunning plan for buying above sets all at once - I have bought a lottery ticket..............

I have the very same issues. I don't see how your " cunning plan" can fail 🤔😂🤣
