The Xuan Hua SdKfz. 251 Ausf. C (1 Viewer)

I managed to get one of the last of this model available from Xuah Hua and glad I did… It’s stunning! Easily one of the best SdKfz. 251 models in 1/30 scale, including the excellent JJD models. Lots of interior details and a driver figure is even included.

I’ve got mine in a Stalingrad themed display using a mixture of First Legion and War Park figures. Can you spot the Russian snipers?




Historical note: The Xuan Hua halftrack model is in the livery of a vehicle from the 11th Panzer Division during the Balkans campaign in 1941; however, 11th Panzer did later participate in Case Blue, but did not get caught up in the fighting within Stalingrad itself. The vehicle is therefore kind of accurate for the setting, but not quite. Still, it looks the part in my display and I’m glad I got one
