The new War Park 101st paratroopers look great alongside W. Britain’s paratroopers released circa 2009-2010.

I decided to incorporate them into my Brecourt Manor diorama.

Easy Company under 1LT Winters seize the first the 105 on D-Day.

“Wild Bill” lets out a burst from his Thompson. Guarnerre after the war remarked how after learning his brother had been killed at Monte Casino right before the jump motivated him to “kill every SOB” he could find.

“Lieutenant Winters, I don’t have anything to set off the TNT with!”

And last but not least, the real Brecourt Manor on my visit 3 years ago.

Hope you enjoy!

Thanks everyone for your kind words!

Interested to know if there’s still a market for 12x18” dioramas like this? Considering making a few to bring to Chicago this year.

The gun seems very American...a 105 mm howitzer not a German one ! Could be an artist license to improvise.....

Very good eye. It is indeed a CTS American 105 disguised as a German 105 due to the fact there are no German 105’s in 1/32-1/30 available.

Excellent dio and pics, like others have said it is a great rendition of the Band of Brothers episode “Day of Days”.
