Very nice Sets Thankyou for shareing with us. We were "supposed" to get the Schneider Mountain 65 Gun, what we got was just the Box art, some old instructions...."full and unfettered copyright" !!! and the rest some broken mixed up "parts" in a freezer bag, and when we complained some fantasy story he was "dead" and a wall of silence we DO NOT believe. Habeus Corpus...There is NO OBITUARY we can find or trace....

We both actualy strongly suspect hes done a "Bunk" with the money to avoid come backs. We wrote to Police and Intenal Affairs, no trace of him !!!!! I could say "something much stronger" but manners and all that .....

What you have there is a Maxim Machine gun and shield and one of the wo sailors that came with the set, one would be seated at the gun and the other standing with ammo feeding the gun. The French soldier that you see in the mould is the mule handler for the broken down Schneider gun on transport by mules....See pics of the gun attached, just that I had Little Legion infantry man

We Inherited a Tooling range and design from A LOT of differrent toolmakers and ages.. This has consequences in workshop casting methods and time taken on certain product Moulds. My Pet hate right now is Spoked Wagon or Gun control wheels....Fine items like Swords Bows Daggers Helmets Heads and Reigns no problem at all finaly....

One day if successfull enough at this game, we will re make specific toolings to improve speed of production time. Rosedale put for example, ? The Round Table SEPARATE SHIELDS just two IN A UN RELATED MOULD....THINK HOW MANY RUNS TO CAST one TABLE FULL, unwise ; and certain soldier and officer figures...I will re tool to make dedicated Moulds for these annoying occurrences Saves a shed full of time
One compensates the irregular rotations, by use of weights, and various home made inventions in the workshop to prevent the worset erratic revolutions..and equaly eratic castings Ahemmmm

Its the only way to use a few of our rather "special" or older toolings. Its no everything , but i did find a few wee duplicated Toolings Abram never told us anything about.....tut tut....
I will be posting more later on. I am lining up some special offers for opening time customers as well, its first come first served, the "specials" are a one off so when its gone its gone. Cheerio for now....

The Moulds vary enormously however in WEIGHT, Thickness and Density, and every single one has its own UNIQUE centrifugal behaviour inside any Machine. Some alas were BENT upon arrival from N.Z. , one or two LEAKED OUCHHHH but generaly its been FAR BETTER than I initialy feared
