Very sad to hear about Doug's passing. I have met him multiple times at the Texas show and always enjoyed talking to him about our hobby. It came as a shock because he always seemed so full of life and I know he was an integral part of the W. Britains family. He will truly be missed for he had a...
The Russians do make the most beautiful figures in the world in my estimation but I do not collect them because I cannot afford to play with them. The Chinese do an acceptable job and they keep getting better at it for a fraction of the cost.

Beautiful display and the Panther was the star of the show, they just did not have enough of them. It is hard for me to visualize the size and intensity of the Battle of Kursk. It will always be a fascination of military buffs for all time. Thanks for the photos.

Mark,
Great job, I love the American Rev. period. Are those Britain's backdrops? I use them for all my dioramas, it really adds depth to the setup.

Jason,
Very well done. You might think about getting W. Britains blue sky background. It can be used for almost any diorama. Thanks for posting the pictures.

If you want the most bang for your buck you take the time to catalog as you are doing and list them separately as you go on a website of your choice for sale. Take time to research going rates so you sell at fair rate. Otherwise to sell it in one lot you will have to make a very attractive...
Very interesting and one of the least known battle of Normandy. Thanks for the link I watched it complete and enjoyed it. What a great victory it was for the Allies.

Jason, I loved this period and enjoyed your diorama. Thanks for sharing. My personal preference is to add casualties to my dioramas for more realism. I guess they are not big sellers but I wish more companies would add them to their different periods of conflict.

It is sad to hear about the only show in Texas is gone again. I guess the cost to run the show is not profitable. We really enjoyed the show and location in historic San Antonio. Will miss the gathering of like minded collectors of military history. If anyone wants to revive it I will surely...
