As I understood, figures based on medieval/renaissance prints and costumes from movies, so here no historical accuracy. It's as "hollywood romans" from classical movies of 50-60's. They are pretty spectacular, but completely non-historical.

This soldiers originally downscaled by unknown italian company in mid 70'. Later moulds was sold to Argentina and some years ago reissued by DSG.
