In some ways Freddie reminds me of another former Brave, Dale Murphy. Both were/are class acts. If pro sports, generally, had more of these kind of guys, Id be a huge fan.

Once upon a time, hoss, once upon a time. USC is a has been, never will be again. Rest on those laurels, it’s all you got and all you’ll ever have.

    NCAA Football 2019

Losing to fellow SEC powerhouse Bama is hardly embarrassing. Losing to a PAC 12 or Big 10 school, now that’s shameful. When USC becomes relevant in football again, do let us know. If not for being the alma mater of OJ Simpson, few would even know they have a football team.

Only weird if you have the interpersonal skills / self-awareness of a piece of granite. Dawg nation remains resolute.

I guess these are the kind of things you post when your regions beloved football coach turns out to be an aider and abettor of a serial pedophile.

The entire city of Atlanta was enthralled with those Braves. Even my mother, who wasn’t a baseball enthusiast before, or after, despite that I played the sport thru college, was into them. Maddux was an Everyman kind of pitcher, an artist of a sort. He did not have an overwhelming arm,. But he...

Ouch. But true. Thank the lord for Smoltz! 15-4 postseason. Regardless, the Braves came up short of the big trophy far too many times.

    2019 Baseball season

Atlanta sports fans with half a brain, and a bit of memory, know well to never, ever start counting chickens. But, it was fun watching that favor being returned. Apparently, that's a record for the playoffs, to lose by at least 8 runs and then win by at least 8 runs the next game.

Yes, it was a glorious day here, although the course was still damp in places. Unfortunately I did not play well. My lower back never quite loosened up, so my swing mechanics suffered.

Really? Your previous post referenced the burning of Atlanta with thinly disguised contempt and glee. Take some self-awareness courses.

Go back to your couch and Cool Ranch Doritos. There are crumbs in between the cushions you missed. I look forward to not hearing a peep about USC “football” for yet another weak season. They haven’t had a strong team since the iconic grad’s OJ Simpson days.

Ooohh, those poor widdle Dodgers..😪😪😭😭😭 Long time Atlanta fans remember we were once in the same division with LA. Hated ‘em then, under Fat Tommy, and still hate em. Regardless of the outcome, my life changes nada. I should be teeing off on hole #2 or #3 when today’s game starts. I’ll be...

Lol It would be a perfect match were the Braves to win the WS this non season! He**, maybe the Dogs will win a Nat Championship too. They can call us the asterisk state. The Falcons and Hawks won’t win a Championship until He** freezes over. But given what’s gone on in 2020, maybe that’s in...

    N.F.L. Season 2018-19

I don’t think anyone expects pro sports will go away. There’s too many couch potatoes in this country for that to happen. But many would like if sports became a much less important part of our society. If folks spent their time engaging in sports, rather than sitting on their lard a**** watching...

Via Bloomberg: "Football fans just want to watch Tom Brady. TV audiences slumped for the first weekend of the NFL season, except for Sunday's matchup on Fox featuring Brady with his new team, the Buccaneers. That game drew 25.8 million viewers, the highest opening weekend for the network in...
