'Project Hail Mary' - Andy Weir What a great book, it's in my Top Five list of the Best Science Fiction Books of All Time, no surprise really as it's by the same author of 'The Martian' that became a huge movie success. And it won't be long before the movie based on 'Project Hail Mary' comes out.

Sometimes you have to return to earlier shows to view decent entertainment. I recently rewatched the 'Grimm' episode 'Three Coins in a Fuchsbau', one of the best 'Grimm' episodes imo. The guest star, Titus Welliver basically stole the scenes he was in and it wasn't long before he became the...

J D (John David) Souther - New Kid in Town. It's almost Twelve months since JD Souther passed aged 78, what a great singer/song writer, having written major hits for The Eagles, Linda Rondastadt, James Taylor etc. Here he is singing one of his more famous songs; 'New Kid in Town', released on...

    Look at Life: Model World

Terrific nostalgia pics there Steve, I can't recall seeing those ping pong guns in Australia, they do have a space age look that would have appealed to kids in that era, personally I never grew out of my fascination for Space Science. Great to see a famous horror actor playing on the carpet...

    Things that annoy me

Yes, technically theft is theft in the eyes of the law. However, my comments are about people that can no longer afford to buy the food they need to live, especially for their children, obviously professional thieves are a different matter. That said, I agree that stores should be more...

    Things that annoy me

Serves them right in a way Steve, they were foolish to think that so many people would 'forget' to scan items at the self-checkout. As for people eating in store, if you're that hungry, go for it imo. I believe the average shopper doesn't care about these thefts because the excessive Supermarket...
