"trapp" that say's it all, and well Conte plastics don't help the situation at all, the quality and sculpting just keeps getting better and better, we all know the expense of plastic production, its no secret, but just imagine what Conte could some out with if the money and demand was bigger...

ya, i have looked at the EOI stuff and does look good, the difference between the two are quite extensive, tough to make a choice sometimes between manufacturers, sure two different perspectives though.

nicolas if you go to the Conte site listed under Pirates, the set you are referring to with the parrot is PIR022 Giv em a broadside, in that picture you can see the parrot on its perch behind the pirate with flag, if the perch staff is shorter than the parrots tail my guess is that it would be...

mike oh so very true, although i did read somewhere that it became very difficult for Conte to continue on with his movie themed playsets due to licensing rights and costs, no matter, they wouldn't need to be tied into movie themes (but great if they were), the airfix 7th cav of the 70's were...

jeff my thoughts somewhat similiar on the moulding for different pieces but was thinking maybe more along the lines of the horses and pieces, this way many of the mounts could be used for different era's to minamize the different horse poses and than only involve the mounted figures themselves...
