Interesting story Andy, I've never read the Sharpe books but enjoyed Bernard Cornwells book 'Waterloo', which I recommend to those that haven't read it. I'm also a big fan of Sean Bean, good to know he's a 'stayer' in the Sharpe series, as he usually suffers a premature death in most of his movies

Agree with you Toddy. I'm a Ridley Scott fan as well, his Alien films, Blade Runner, Gladiator etc, all great movies but Napoleon was a failure IMO. He compounded the numerous and often risible historical inaccuracies with wasting too much film time on Napoleons romances, especially that hussy...
