Wermacht figures rather than Waffen SS

Yeah, I am slowly getting some of the infantry sets, I would have loved to have been able to grab to PanzerII or the Armored Car or PanzerIV though, they are getting a little out of what I can pay for a single set Bill

Wermacht figures rather than Waffen SS

Andy, Thank you for the response, I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question. I did not think of the Afrika Corps, I was thinking more along the lines of European troops, so I definetely sold you short on that one, my apologies. Also, much thanks on the info about the reasons for...

Thanks for the link, I could have sworn that those were SS uniforms, guess not. Still be nice for some more Wehrmacht.

Wermacht figures rather than Waffen SS

Was Grossdeutchland SS or regular army then? B/C the coloring on the uniforms I'm pretty sure is SS. Apologies if im completely missing the boat

Wermacht figures rather than Waffen SS

I believe that the sets you mentioned are actually Waffen SS, or if not intended, they are still in Waffen SS uniforms. A good way to tell is the shirt and helmet color. Compare them to the shirt and helmet color of the German Cavalry or if you have any Britains or other company's German...

Wermacht figures rather than Waffen SS

I just had a question that maybe Andy could answer next time he posts or another member who knows could answer. I wondered if Andy ever considered doing regular Wermacht soldiers (other than the German Cav) or is planning on it in the future. It seems like it may be a good idea at least to do...

    Limited Stug WS 69

Personally, I think that it is a good buy and different enough from the original to warrant buying it, even at the higher cost. If I had to compare the paint scheme to anything in the current repetoire of KC I would say its a sharper version of the Wittman's Last Tiger paint job. The commander...

    WS 69 Stug No 501 ?!

Hey Gideon, Ok cool, thanks for the info. I personally don't care if it comes with one or not, I like the piece for what it is, although if it does I'd obviously like to have a cert. if they are sent. It wasgood to see you again and catch up. I'll see you soon, I'm debating the next...

    Old Northwest Trading Company

Didn't one of the fellas say that they misquoted him? I've had some bad experiences too with interviews where I have either been 'slightly misquoted' as I believe he said, or in some cases completely distorted. I'm personally a K&C collector too, but just seems silly to quibble over stuff like...

    New Release photos??

Thanks for the info, I can't wait to see the pictures. Yeah, i thought itd make sense to at least have a pattern and some recommendations on paint for those of us (like myself) who arent either experienced or as skilled as some of our fellow members at custom painting.

    New Release photos??

Hey guys, Sorry if this was covered and I missed it in the previous threads about the new releases for BoB, unpainted, etc, but have any photos been released yet? Also, for the unpainted figures, is there going to be a K&C endorsed paint kit or something of those sorts for us? Or perhaps some...

    Flag Raising Iwo Jima Comparison

Hey Guys, I had a question as to which version of the flag raising you like more, the newer or retired one? Also, why do you like whichever one better? I want to get one of them, but I can't make up my mind as to which I like more. Bill

Idea for Battle of the Bulge Dioramas

I've been doing a little cleaning around the house and was dusting our christmas village (which is more of a year round thing because its only three buildings and we're a bit lazy with that sort of thing) and I realized that many of these buildings would be a great way to fill out a BoB display...

    Storage of KC Boxes

I'll have to go and look for those lined boxes. That sounds like a good idea. Again, I appreciate the advice, however as the collection grows, I'm going to need a room to store the boxes in too! Bill

    Storage of KC Boxes

Thanks for the tip Njja. Hopefully, I'll be able to find some closet space if I do some reshuffling. That was the reason for needing to move the boxes up into the attic. Bill

    Storage of KC Boxes

Hi guys, I have what might be a dumb question, but I thought that I would ask just to see what the experts think. I need to store my KC boxes so I was going to put them all in a large box that I have and place that in the attic of my house. They will be dry and out of direct light, but the...

    NEW Atillery for 2006?

I agree. I think that a self propelled gun would be the most interesting new choice as these have not been extensively covered in the 1/32, 1/30 scale. The elefant and hummel would be the most unique and, personally, I think the most popular. The hummel would be my first choice despite my...

    Berlin Germans WOW

I noticed this too when I first got my king tiger. I believe that they were mounted on similar chassis which would explain the similarity in size. Despite the name King Tiger, it was actually designed more along the lines of a King Panther so to speak. If you check the tracks and the basic...
