I did the hot water trick too but that figure still has balance issues. I'm painting a few Contes to blend in with these figures and do a 16 to 24 man unit as I do with other brands. These Paragons , as is and unpainted, would go well mixed...
First photos of the painted figures. Sculpted details vary. The running man with the upraised leg in not well balanced The sculptor didn't know exactly where all the straps went. Rifles are off in some cases and were replaced with spare X-Force arms. Heads are pretty good. Hands , not so much...
While few of these sets are of interest to me I have to say that these sets are 1st rate looking. If you had to buy these subjects in painted metal or metal kits you would spend waaaaay more money. I may not buy them but I would encourage others who like the subjects covered by the set to do so...
Good point. You get more play value out of action poses. I do like some parade type figures but unless they are of men in ranks that you can set up as an inspection etc, multiple officers are a barrier for me to buy more sets.
