Spot the fallen Jap? The palm logs in the foreground hide a concealed tunnel to the knocked out bunker on the left, which is fixed in place and hollow inside. In hindsight I should have made the bunker more collapsed and bomb damaged. The dried foliage is old K&C stock and the dead palm fronds...

I built this WW2 USMC display a while back, however in my haste to set it up I didn't 'camo' the sides and therefore not totally finished in my view. I thought I'd post a couple of snaps before I remove the figures etc and give the sides a dust off of sand to finally complete it. I can post more...

That’s awesome your brother has stepped up. So often it’s the daughter/s who end up carrying the biggest load when it comes to caring for elderly parents. It’s always great to hear when families pull together with these things.
