I just paid a visit to my favorite brick and mortar shop in Gettysburg today and came away with Rommel and the Adler. I always try to support John because I enjoy the relationship and talking toy soldiers painting his wargamer he has going.

I try to buy from Johns shop at Gettysburg. Super nice guy and that is how I found out about King and Country and fl. Nothing beats being able to see it first hand.

What amazes me is the detail on the drum. It appears to be actually painted and not a decal. Looking forward to picking up the rest.

John got them in last week and just picked them up today. I saw the flags and they are all great. Next week I will try to pick up the National colors of the 56th next week. Really like th drummer boy too. Can't wait for th bucktails and 14th

I just checked the price of my car in 2008. It has gone up 20K. Unfortunately most products go up in price due to various reason. (Wages, inflation etc.).

I was reading an unpublished CW diary and saw he talked about playing baseball (Spring of 63). If/when FL does a Civil War Camp scene. that would be something interesting to see. Some solders playing baseball.

Although I don't collect this period. These are such amazing figures it is tempting to pick one up.
