I was wondering if the collective Hive knows whether or not Trophy ever issued any of the Mahdist, Dervish leader figures. The Mahdi, the Khalifa, Osman Digna would have been nice additions to the Trophy range.
Or does Little Legion make similar figures?

Camel Corps foot officer for $80 and the trumpeter for $70 are listed on eBay today. Wow! I should start selling off my CC if they bring prices like that. {eek3}
I have set up a diorama depicting the charge of the 21st Lancers at Omdurman with 14 Lancer figures and Young Winston Churchill. They have just encountered a hoard of Dervish foot warriors and another hoard of Dervish horsemen advance to support their brethren. The pictures are posted on the...
I recently acquired six 21st Lancers at Omdurman and the early set of Young Winston with the attacking Dervish warrior, plus some odds and ends for the Sudan. I now have 16 Lancers including Winston which makes me happy because I like units in mass.
The auction lot included three Camel Corps...
It is really heartbreaking to see an eBay seller breaking up a set into individual figures. Even worse, they have all of their auctions for the set ending at the same time.

Re: Who Is Sam Floca?
I'm wondering if forum management could change the title of this thread to something like
"Sam Floca Collection "?
This looks a little better than the original thread title and more accurately reflects the direction of this thread as a place to talk about Sammy's...
Re: Who Is Sam Floca?
There seems to be an eBay buyer, g***b, who is all in with over $5,000 in total bids for Floca Collection items. That must make Peter very happy.;)

Re: Who Is Sam Floca?
Nicely done Louis and congrats on the acquisition. I was looking at that item too, but it was bit over my budget plus I'm not really collecting much of Trophy India figures.

A couple of historical notes: Prussian Grenadier companies did not carry regimentsfahnen flags ( but the five musketeer companies in the battalion did carry such flags, the senior company carried the predominantly white leibfahnen flag). Accordingly, there should not be a Grenadier model...
Is there a list of all of the Prussian and Wurzburg figures in the JJD Leuthen diorama? I'm thinking of buying the pieces as I can find them, but need to know how many there are so that I don't inadvertently purchase duplicates.
Re: Who Is Sam Floca?
Thanks to Sam I have been able to make some nice additions to my own Trophy collection. Based on the items that are being listed on eBay in recent weeks, it looks like it was quite an extensive collection.
