    December Warbirds Sale

A lot of great models at reduced prices! If anyone out there is a fan of the WWI warbirds, the WOW320 AEG GIV at the price in the sale is a fantastic opportunity to get a twin engine bomber for your collection. I got mine full price and simply love it! Might take some images as I added a crew...

New Releases December 2021 - World War II

I also received mine and it is an amazing model. So many details and so well though out in turns of the fenders, the extra track links the interior... well EVERYTHING. The paint job and the colors used. We know how color varied in German armor, but in models sometimes the green gets "funky" and...

    Napoleon in Egypt

Such a colorful series! I decided recently to put away the sets I have from this series, but have no plans to sell them as I just love them! Only got some of the French three infantry sets, six drummers and three color bearers. Will get some images to post them here to identify what I have. From...

Greenwood & Ball Dioramas, like the ones from that old James Bond Movie

This last Zulu set up brought back a lot of memories. I just loved all the Sanderson figures from my figure painting days. Still have a small dio pf Zulus and 24th of Foot I made in 1979. I also visited the Under Two Flags store in London. Do not remember a large dio such as this, but I did see...

Are the 62nd Rgt British figures all done? Hope not!

In the Troiani book it also mentioned that Lt. Gonville Bromhead is depicted in the center of the print, looking back at the three man group I mentioned above. He was captured in Saratoga and was a prisoner of war for about three years! This was the grandfather of the Gonville Bromhead of Zulu...

Are the 62nd Rgt British figures all done? Hope not!

Initially I was not too thrilled with these figures and I quickly got to love them. Used them for a Saratoge set up and a stand alone second group. I now it is not accurate, but for a second group I made a simple conversion to the officer figure, adding a sword…

Trying to identify this Trophy Napoleonic Cavalry figure

It is marjed 03 under the base I imagine is for 2003 and of course the regular TM logo. I think it was supposed to represent some sort of prince, Prussian maybe?, but have been unable to find it in the internet. Thanks in advance.

Are the 62nd Rgt British figures all done? Hope not!

After browsing through the very nice Don Troiani book “Liberty”, I would love JJD to produce the three man vignette shown on Troiani’s “Freeman’s Farm” painting, of a wounded officer, a drummer and an infantryman.

Saxon shield wall, Battle of Hastings 1066

Thanks for your comments. Agree completely. My steps might have been better if 1/2 inch instead of 1 inch. Also, it is trickupy to add texture, but also avoid figures tipping over. I really like that in this one I made steps to the rear, which alliwed some of the trees in the “reverse slope”...
