My interpretation of the Civil War Artist Keith Rocco's painting entitled 'Hell for Glory" using figures from my soldier collection. This depicts Brig Gen Richard Garnett encouraging the 18th Virginia Regiment of his Brigade forward during Pickett's Charge at Gettysburg, PA on July 3, 1863. Figures sculpted by Ken Osen and made by W. Britain.

YOu've captured that desperate scene very well Mike. :salute:: Chris

Looks great Mike ! :salute::

I used to know a former 2/9th Marine who said one of his Ancestor had been at Picketts charge and his surname was Garnett !
He too served in Vietnam (1967) up at Cam Lo. But became a casualty of the war in 2003 losing his battle with the effects of Agent Orange.

Interesting story Steve. The use of Agent Orange wasn't well thought out especially in light of the health consequences so many have had to deal with.
