    Up to my ears in regimental history books here :) I'm going with the [DRUM ROLL] Kings Dragoon Guards There was a Britains set(2074) released in 1953 though so I'm not betting the farm on my answer. They were also part of set 129 British Cavalry Presentation Case but they were painted wrong...

    Ha! Ha! You put me on the spot here. I would have answered the 3rd KOH but I'm pretty sure Britains made those. I just read The Boer War by Thomas Pakenham and the 3rd Hussars made an appearance so they are stuck in my head. And they kick ***. Now I'm going to cheat and go look it up :)...
