    A Russian thought

Dear Andy and Co... I have been reading Beevor's Berlin and came across a description of the Russian advance that I thought would be mind-boggling as a diorama. Just wanted to share with our gentle readers and yourself. "The Soviet armies advancing in huge, long columns were an extraordinary...

    Matterhorn

Having just finished reading Karl Marlantes' book, Matterhorn ( which is hit and miss, occasionally over the top, but essentially amazing) I've developed a new interest in the Vietnam era. Having just chased down a bunch of variously sized Hueys for my Flight of the Valkeries diorama I have to...

K&C UK New Exclusive Range – What will it be?

For wishful thinking I'm going to say Marlborough and the boys from Blenheim. Somebody has to make these dudes some day.

    K&C Multiple Range Collections

Hey Howard, I have multiples in Napoleonic infantry primarily where I think I can get away with it. Otherwise to swell the ranks for American D-Day landings or troops on the march. As a collector of airfix soldiers, as a kid, I used to have five of each kind of soldier (roughly) in each set so I...

Forthcoming and final dispatches of 2010

I'm expecting my ship to come in, literally. Kriegsmarine has been dry for a while. I'd apologize for the dire puns but I enjoy them too much.

    BBG 033: "Cold Feet...Warm Boots"

I have to say that I received this set by error and am sending it back. It's graphic, well cast, original and authentic. Just nothing I want to look at. If the shoe was on the other foot (please excuse the dire pun) I'd probably feel the same way. Having said that my dioramas need more...

    Collector club figures.

I, for one, would love to see John Churchill, first duke of Marlborough. Undefeated, brilliant, and unlikely to be released in any other way. And who knows, interest in him might generate further interest in the unbelievably dark and colorful Thirty Years War.

Any of you guys have a new dio planned?.

Great idea, Rob. I'm hanging out for the new bulge stuff with the view to organizing a hasty conference between Skirzeny et al with the older radio car, kubelwagon and attendant cronies. The snow tiger, looming in the background will be a bonus.

    Forthcoming Dispatches-Not missing this one!

Maybe something a bit older. I'm thinking mid-twentieth century perhaps. Possibly European. Fingers crossed.

    World War 2

I feel this range is sadly neglected. Anyone got any news on when the next WWII figures might be released? I'm dying here.

    My Kampfgruppe Peiper (BoB) Dio

Love the diorama. Dismayed by the big-*** swastika on the wall behind it.
