    On A Cairo Street

Completely agree with Robin - I would also snap up the building… not withstanding the shipping charges which I am sure would accrue for such a large piece!

    Most Fun K&C Theme

In the last decade? Certainly the Battle of the Big Horn - dynamic sculpts, great colours and dripping with real frenetic energy when displayed - excellent stuff!

lots of toy soldiers from an estate - need help

Perhaps the first and easiest approach is to look through and detail the manufacturers and whether the figures themselves are glossy or matt. This will give collectors on here something to go on when proffering advice (and they are very generous with it); different brands and figure types...

K & C Order from HK to UK - Excellent

You certainly do - while I order direct from K&C, TG and JG miniatures, for certain other manufacturers, it largely works out cheaper to buy from US Dealers than locally or from Europe and China they are always efficient despite customs hassles at the U.K. end.

K & C Order from HK to UK - Excellent

I would certainly agree, K&C do an excellent job shipping to the U.K. Very unfortunately we don’t have the dealer infrastructure you have in Australia and elsewhere. Of the three, one has only a very limited selection, another charges a mark-up well beyond the additional 20% we need to pay in...

Buying toy soldiers in the UK

I am based in the U.K. I order from K&C HK directly - they are super efficient and over a certain amount they don’t charge postage. All their prices are as indicated on their website so no mark up (the HKD is pegged to the USD so the variable is the GBP for us) but of course you could be...

Buying toy soldiers in the UK

K&C are great to order from directly; TG is always a joy to deal with when you buy direct. No issues there at all. Unfortunately, sourcing JJD is a struggle - John doesn’t ship from HK sadly and the U.K. dealer chooses to simply post the USD price but in GBP, which is a 30-35% mark up and is...

Suggestion for Pirates and British Navy/Marines

Perhaps Andy won’t thank me for mentioning this, but a few years ago he kindly asked my son and I up to his offices in HK (what an Aladdin’s cave of treasures that is!). He did in fact have some pirate masters which were rather splendid and which naturally caught the boy’s eye - as I recall he...

    March '22 Release

It will, thanks, TG do a great job it must be said - and as Ozdigger suggests, as a Pom I am always jealous of Aussies, especially around the Cricket!
