jb, This one happens to be an original hollowcast, rather than a Dorset purchase. As for the shape of the banner, I was inspired by this stained glass window showing St. Dennis handing off the oriflamme. I believe this panel is from a cathedral in Chartres. Enjoy!

I just received this Hirart set as part of the 2017 order. i paired the set up with some figures from other sets for the picture, and this set looks pretty awesome.

My next project in this line will be converting some hollow cast foot knights into members of the kingsguard. Below are pictures of the knights I'll be using, and the picture from the graphic novel which is providing some inspiration.

I recently finished all of the Game of Thrones books, and was inspired to paint a few knights as I imagined them. This one is Daemon Blackfyre, as I imagined him after reading his description.

That game was a heartbreaker for my Golden Hurricane, I really thought they were going to pull it out. Tulsa and Navy have the same problem, no defense.

Well I decided to take your advice regarding the "buckskin." I personally prefer Testors to Humbrol, but gloss is definitely my medium. Cowboys and Indians is a little bit outside of my usual collecting sphere, but he turned out to be really fun to paint.
