This lonely soldier is from the same manufacturer that painted the Marius Mule sculpture (Spbsouvenir / Silver Dream Studio).
It's a Roman legionary in campaign clothing (1st to 2nd Century A.D).
It's a somewhat peculiar figure but I love this one, especially the painting of the cloak.
This is the famous 'Marius Mule' from the Spanish company Andrea. 54 mm, 49 metal parts. Beautiful sculptured.
The figure has been painted in St. Petersburg by Spbsouvenir (SilverdreamStudio). I think they did a fine job.

I bought a few soldiers from the Lost Legion. They look great with those black shields, especially the ones marching with the pilum straight forward (ROM001). I'm thinking about building a new diorama with these soldiers but I'm not sure where to situate them. Maybe Africa or Britannia. Enemies...
