Here is another look at our most recent U.S. Army Air Corps ground mechanics together with our last P-51 Mustang ‘Shangri-La’ flown by Captain Don Gentile.
Up we go into the wild blue yonder!

Some terrific aircraft ... brings back memories of a thread years ago where the late great Larry Lo and I were engaged in a friendly competition to see who had the most K&C warbirds in our personal air forces. Kevin Elliott and I could definitely have used these grease monkeys when we did our RAF Airfield photoshoot:
