is it cheaper to buy the sets instead of the individual figures ?

Some of the sets appear to be considerably less expensive, perhaps 25%. Some of them are for sale in the TF store.

Seems like none for me.

I would had liked the Kfz 13 - however they pair with the commandos which I don' collect {sm4}

I'm reading Andy's leader and I'm getting the sense of Christmas giving for friends and family who likely don't collect rather than for collectors, and I have a home in mind for that Napoleonic scene in Egypt. Makes sense that I would give that which I'd enjoy receiving. And it beats the heck out of socks and underwear ^&cool. Nice sentiment Andy. Thank you.:salute::

These are some really nice sets. I unfortunately have most of the N. African pieces, but there's a few more items that spark my interest. I like the idea of some beginner/starter sets at a better price.

Not great if your a dealer then:rolleyes2:

At this point, I suspect that any sales promotion that KC conducts will leave some of us pretty feeling pretty flat. "What's in it for me, some will ask? I recall, for instance, a modicum of resentment when the company offered a promotion on one of its tank models to U.K. collectors. Darned if it does, darned if it doesn't.:eek:

These vehicles and soldiers I suspect are the "slow moving" ones (maybe not so popular) and they are reducing inventory

PS: I could be wrong though {sm4}

Some very attractive deals there, I'm certainly interested.

A great combo idea K&C and again thinking outside the square.:salute::

Look forward to seeing more sets on offer, like their wonderful WW1 figures.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your interest and comments.

"Beginners' Bonus" sets are ALSO AVAILABLE from all your favourite authorized K&C Dealers around the world that wish to stock them.

So this way new collectors... existing collectors and the K&C dealers themselves can all benefit from this great deal!

Best wishes and happy collecting!

To answer my own question .........

I have been advised by a dealer that there would be reasonable savings from the purchase of these "beginner" sets.

Why do you say that?

If these sets are sold at a set price from K&C then Dealers are hardly losing out.

$299US is still a decent sum to be parting with, so if collectors want to buy singles or the vehicles on there own then they still have that option.

I think it's a win win for everyone and like the concept and adding the buildings and walls is a nice touch.

Whilst this is targeted for the beginner collectors, I wish there is a way for the "old bird" collectors here to enjoy the savings.

Someone needs to create an app so that we can crowd source. I found that for the series that I am interested in, I either already have the vehicle or the figures. Wish there was a way to share the savings.

Rgds,Chris

I have been shy from toy soldier forums but I think this is a interesting idea and if K&C did some Roman's I may be back to get a set .

Chris.

Hi all,

This message is more for Treefrog, but when might these sets be available through the website?
