Hi Guys,

As “Pike & Musket” goes from strength to strength especially with the release of the new “Three Musketeers & D’Artagnan” set I thought you might like to get a little advance peek on what’s coming up in the next couple of months...Maybe we can call it “Peek & Musket”...More “Ironsides” and a pair of very useful Parliamentary “Musketeers” as you can see. Hope you like ‘em.

The backdrop is part of a fantastic “European Village” display that K&C purchased some months back from an American collector. Beautiful work and truly inspirational!

Enjoy and...happy collecting.

Andy

See now I am not going to be able to sleep nights, thinking about these. Must earn more money^&grin, Robin.

hello Andy, we see that your nice horse-cart is often used in various dios but always we notice the driver's lack. Why not release a three drivers set for it? The first for the English Civil War, the second with tricorn for the AWI and the last a German soldier for WWII. I am sure it would be a hit, thanks for the attention, Carlo

False advertising.... I got excited and thought someone had finally done a Trojan horse for the ancient greek line lol

hahaha....

the title got me too...

I thought it was something to add to my K&C Hoplite/Persians...

but still...

even though it's not for me...

that is sweet!

Alymer actually did a Trojan Horse set which I have. It is a beast, all metal, it is packed away but I will see if I can find a pic

Didn't Figarti have one at the Chicago show a few years ago?

Marco Polo (Aeroart and Figarti) had a prototype, I don't think it ever got made and it may have been Aeroart's model, I can't remember. Saw it in person, I thought the ALymer one was big, this one was huge!

Andy,

Are there plans to do 30Y war sets. Will we see Gustavus Adolphus, Wallenstein, Spanish Tercios? Could be some pretty cool stuff.

I like the direction taken by the range. I humbly suggest of making the figure more different and aimed at the collectors with no intention of forming "massed bands " of figures and appreciating the single and unique figure. Even if the soldiers at the time received in some regiments (in the ECW) a sort of uniform , i'd like to see them more ragtag..more ragged . Too many buff colored cassocks, i'd prefer people in everyday clothes , the officers maybe with rich dresses.

This is a really nice series and I think one of K&C's best! Very colourful and lots of subject matter to cover. If it wasn't for the drop in value of the Canadian dollar, I'd like to collect it!

Cheers,

Brendan

Now that would be a great idea .... I have a 6 or 7 of the carts (for the AWI era) and would buy one for each if they came out.
Maybe one for the British and one for the Colonials. Keep thinking Carlo!!!

Think it is a good idea too, the only downside the cart is long retired and doubt whether many new collectors would have it, especially as you have all the stock^&grin, hopefully a new cart is in the making with a driver who could also be utilised with this older cart. Looking forward to seeing what accessories will come with this range. The two buildings are a good start. Robin.
