The reason i want to know is that you can buy a great piece of hand made wooden furniture for the price of these wooden planes being made by everyone.
I don't get why they are so expensive im not starting a price war or bagging anyone who has 1 etc (I would by one in a flash if i could afford it) just don't get why they are so much.
So if anyone could explain without giving away any trade secrets etc im just curious that,s all i rreckon they are superb and like i said if i could afford it i would have a room full of them.

Wayne when I get my Tg Me 262 night fighter are let you know mate:tongue:^&grin

Wayne Tg Me 262 is made of wood mate same as KC ju52 so will be built the same way as for 1 or five being made there still limited run planes

Not sure I would have liked it wooden made....The windows are painted and, paying a big price, I would have preferred to have transparent windows and watch inside the plane, and maybe opening door......No weathering on the painting.

Thought some might be interested in several wooden air birds under $1000.
I think I read that an honor bound tank sold for $850
I agree with Brad that these warbirds are a work of art
I have the polish P-51 and the desert kitty hawk among others
If k&c website is correct, these planes are available
While I have an honour bound tiger and it is great, believe me if you can make the stretch you won't regret buying one of Andy,s warbirds
Happy pursuit it is worth it
(The windows are all clear plastic)
Harvey
