Hi Guys,

Just to break away from the August “DISPATCHES” for a moment… This big “Auntie Ju” flew in this morning so we quickly inspected it and set it up with a few of our winter-clad Germans and a couple of older vehicles. It looks like at least some lucky Wehrmacht are getting out before the Red Army arrives!

Hope you like it… This is one of two JU 52’s heading off to a lucky collector in Florida… Best wishes and happy flying!

I do own the Junkers 52 Europe version Air063B. The green plane, and i must say its a very nice plane indeed,

Purely out of interest and information to those that may not know, K&C Wooden Warbirds do not come in a dedicated K&C box. They are all delivered in a plain, everyday type box and packed individually (and carefully) as can be seen in the pictures.

You do receive a A4 sized certificate, but if you ever purchase one second hand, there will be no 'original' box.

Exactly what I was thinking. Great film with a real plane, real parachuting and real snow covered mountains - no cgi.

I have eight of the Connoiesseur style and I take a photo of the plane in the box so I know how to re-pack it if I have to move. I also save the boxes. This plane probably cost around $2,500. If you will go to Bill Sager's site, you will see a list (with photos and prices) of the ones that have been made. I, along with Louis, Lawrence Lo and Hans Hedrich have many of the early ones.
