Guess we may start censuring all posts as it seems the ''we'' I suppose that is the Royal ''we'' have decided what is allowed and what is not. I guess if what ''we'' are saying is anything that critiques something should be banned as a few have decided lets go the whole proverbial hog!!

Perhaps next for the cull should be what could be seen as sycophantics and any who Rah Rah as the forum calls it products and manufacturers... Better still lets just start trying to threaten people for being outspoken and run them off the forum... No! That has been tried. Ban people who don't adhere to the small ''we'' mentality no... that's also been tried...

I know, why not close the forum down completely?? A discussion that incorporates all things toy soldiers the good and the bad and the ugly will just not do especially, on a forum about toy soldiers!!!!

It is a rather interesting thread and I love the Iron Lady quote. Amusingly enough, I think she not only expected criticism but rather thrived on it, having said things like:

I always cheer up immensely if an attack is particularly wounding because I think, well, if they attack one personally, it means they have not a single political argument left.

And ....

I love argument, I love debate. I don't expect anyone just to sit there and agree with me, that's not their job.

The best quote I have seen on criticism in not something she said, although I have a certain feeling it is something she would have fully endorsed:

You don’t create a diamond by rubbing it with fluffy bunny slippers. You need to apply pressure and heat. There are enough air-headed cheerleaders out there. We need more drill sergeants.

Sometimes we seem to forget the need for drill sergeants.

Note to Mitch and Uksubs : Interesting that you liked the comment about threatening PM's but had issues with a recent thread on the same subject. At least be consistent.

Last I looked the forum was a TS discussion platform. I wonder if we are ever going to be able to just discuss TS with all the pro's and con's of them and be able to debate them with maturity and respect for differing opinions and move on from all the sad stupid stuff that some have to bring to the party???
