“Listening to the Many… Listening to the Few” (1 Viewer)

trouble is that it's not etched in andy's minds. We probably need to spike the water in september in chicago :wink2:

well brad , maybe a little napoleonic brandy could loosen his mind up alittle

So many collectors with so many different tastes. Luckily King&Country is a big company and really do make a lot of stuff. Luckily for me being strictly WWII there is always a full plate for me month to month ^&grin

I can attest to that after meeting Jack at the airport and having him tower over me...{eek3}

P.S. with all these "tall" collectors around the place im feeling like a hobbit!

Tom

Did someone say 'Hobbit'........Teehe I know a few Aussi's with hairy feet.....{sm2}

Being from New Zealand this must mean that you personally know Peter Jackson. Could you possibly give him a call later and find out when he is finally going to turn his short movie on WW1 into a feature length film? Thinking about it, can you call him now and get back to me within the hour? Nice one. Cheers. {sm3}

Toddy may well know Peter Jackson as there are not many Kiwis and most of them live in OZ anyway :wink2: but you may have to wait awhile as they still use two tin cans with the string over there.{eek3}
Wayne.
PS. Toddy, Aussie is spelt with an 'e' mate..^&grin

Hehe......I've got Peter on speed dial, but the cheeky bugga won't pick up .......can't think why.....anybody would think he was busy.....last I heard he was flying one of his bi-planes around the South Island, trying to remember where he'd left those sodding Lancasters, he'd built for the Dam Busters remake....doh{eek3}:tongue:{sm3}

Cricky Wayne, when did Aussie's start using 'E's" mate??........and I'll have you know, we stopped using string and tins last week, we're now onto number '8' fencing wire and 44 gallon drums.......we've discovered you can almost eliminate the echo and I can now just make out Tom and Jack banging away on their banjo's in Tasmainia{sm2}

You're scaring me Toddy with this knowledge you have of Aussies having hairy feet!!!{sm4}

Tom

Yeah Tom mate, I had a frightening experience last time I visited Bondi beach.......never seen so much hair{eek3}, I figure it can only be the over indulgence of ya 'Fosters beer' mate and a complete lack of lady shavers{eek3}{sm5}^&grin

Now Toddy, Tassie is one place where you'll find plenty of people with very hairy feet and some with hairy palms to boot...(you'll notice the 'E' on the end of Tassie) How's Peter by the way?.....:wink2::rolleyes2:

Yes Wayne........we've heard all those rumours about the folk from 'Tassie'......in fairness I think every country has a wee 'Tassie' tucked away somewhere in it's undergrowth.....for us Kiwi's it's Stewert Island, hiding just below the South Island......I'm sure thats where we get Hobbits from.{sm2}

As for Peter he's still MIA somewhere in the Southern Alps.......no need to panic though, I've managed to track down everyones best mate Snoppy{bravo}} and he's agreed to lead a search & rescue for Pete:tongue:......he's currently loading up the kennel and donning his flying helmit as we speak{sm5}....I'll keep ya posted lads.....

Jack banging on a banjo, now that will be the day! {sm2}{sm4}

I think you will find Toddy that the majority of that "hair" on Bondi doesn't come from us Aussie's!{sm4}

Excellent - Aussies and Kiwis speaking their own language on a thread about something entirely different. That won't annoy anyone!

Jack mate, I would describe us as speaking 'ANZAC'^&grin, a unique tongue forged from decades of sledging one another at the SCG :tongue:.......as for hijacking the thread I plead innocence..... it was all Wayne's fault:wink2:

Come on Tom mate, we've all seen those Aussi/Italian blokes in their speedo's{eek3}, they've got more hair on them then the Nepalese Yetti^&grin.

As for us Kiwi blokes, we're strictly you're standard Anglo-Saxon 'short-hair' variety, although I do have a good mate called Sean who does resemble a wooly Mammoth in between his monthly shaves{sm5}
