Hi Guys,
Seeing “Western outlaw’s” Desert Outpost set up made Gordon and yours truly delve into the K&C Archives and bring out a few of our “golden-oldies” and feature them in our “Desert Oasis” scene...
Hope you like it and look out for more tomorrow ...
Best wishes and Happy Collecting
Gordon and Andy

Good to see the brothers having some "More" fun i missed out on these sets and regret it always like the LRDG.

Those chevy's are nice, thanks for posting Andy.

Yes, the LRDG are superg figures, and it would be good to see the series expanded. Indeed, post North Africa, the SAS were heavily involved in the late war incursions into Germany. Operation Archway saw the SAS deploy rapid attack jeeps in support of airborne troops. It would be a nice to see this arena explored.

Gotta love Paddy Mayne standing over the two dead DAK grenadiers....

Alas, in these type of operations, at this stage of the war in the desert, neither the British or Germans were taking POW's on these long range desert patrols

The lack of Water, provisions / fuel preventing.

Oh, But what legends were born out there in the Western desert.

I recommend reading "Popski's Private Army", usually available in second hand for a few pounds/Dollars.

Yeah wonderful creative sets these and the Chev's and jeep are superb. I only managed to nab one of the Chev's and kick myself for not grabbing the other at the time. They certainly seem to hold their price in the secondary market and one would hope an updated version is in the wings at some stage in the future?
