Hi Guys,
Here is the latest little piece of display diorama Gordon has prepared for the upcoming “West Coaster Show”.
As you can see it features our latest F4U “Corsair” and Major Gregory “Pappy Boyington” and a couple of his VMF-214 squadron mates – Lieutenants John Bolt and Chris Magee. All three became Pacific War air aces.
In addition to the pilots there are a few of our new “Mud Marines” guarding the airstrip as well as our upcoming USMC Jeep and the US military Tent plus, of course, that cheeky little sign.
To help fill out our scene there are also a few of K&C’s older ground-crew figures as well as no less than 19 Desert Palm Trees and other bits and bobs.
The dio measures just 21”x21” and almost 18” high.
Look out for it at the “West Coaster” in the K&C room and on our usual stand.
Best wishes and Happy Collecting!
Andy

Fanatstic seeing a Pacific themed display and I'm loving that Corsair!

Superb work K&C.:salute::

Great scene Andy, I love the tent, could also be turned into a MASH tent from WW2 and the Korean war
The drivers in the jeeps are they fixed or can they be removed ?
guy:smile2:

One of the most exciting new series in a loooooong time. I am looking forward to seeing the new releases for this and a continuation of the JN series. GOOD times in the K&C 2016 toy soldier world!!!

As always, Gordon does just inspiring work I save the images of to provide ideas for future dios of my own.

Thanks Andy, Gordon and all the K&C staff.

That is a really cool display. The South Pacific theatre is a nice departure from the usual European and African theatres of WWII. The flora and fauna of this diorama are sublime. :cool: Really looking forward to some other releases in the future. I will temper this enthusiasm by saying I would likely only buy a few select pieces from this theater to round out my WWII collection and by having the Corsair and Zero with a selection of ground personnel I'm almost there.
