Hi Guys,
A few replies and responses to some recent posts...

1. “World of Dickens”
In the works at the moment are a brand-new “Oliver Twist”...”A Hot Chestnut Seller” and a young “Pie Maker”. Quite a few other pieces are also in development.

2. “Tora! Tora! Tora!”
I love our new A6M “Zero” with the panel lines...and it would seem so do many other K&C collectors who have made it one of our best sellers of recent years. Now, I also know that not everyone like those “lines” but I do think they add character to the model...
Question: How many of you would be interested in seeing a “Third” Zero albeit still Imperial Navy light grey but with the different markings of a well-known Japanese Ace?

3. “Uhlans”
I agree with “Old Bill” that those Uhlans were among the best cavalry figures K&C ever produced...Strangely, at the time, they were a “slow” seller!

4. Our P40
If I ever get around to it I’d like to see a K&C “Pearl Harbor” P40 or even a Russian “lend-lease” version...Any thoughts Guys...?

5. “Last Two Crusader Tents”
“Templar” from Denmark opined “Dear God! Let this be the last two Crusader Tents!”

I don’t think we’ve done that many...but more than a few “Crusader & Saracens” collectors want a tented camp that’s not just 3 or 4 tents. PLUS there are new collectors out there who were not able to get the first tent releases...so a couple of additions were provided.

Besides “God” had nothing to do with this particular decision — I accept full responsibility!!!

Best wishes guys and happy collecting...

Answer: Yes mate definatly.

P-40 in Soviet markings would be much appreciated. ANY Soviet aircraft would be good - don't forget they also used, and liked the Hurricane.

Andy - yes to crusader tents but we also need more camp followers - fletchers (arrow makers), blacksmiths, cooks and all the others that made-up medieval military camp life. Please consider for some time in the future.

Greetings All,

Kind of staying within topic, but hopefully an early war German Panzer II is a possibility in the near future. I have spoken with many
collectors that have been following the "Classic German" , WH new series, etc..... Any one else interested in this tank being done
again, as the earlier WS041 version is not cheap at the current prices. I think many here would be interested too !
Yes, there has been a ton of Wehrmacht releases during the last 2 years but this would make a fine addition to the current line !
It is really truly amazing the amount of New K&C releases being offered each and every month.

Yes to the above and

1. Saracen Tents
2. Battering Ram
3. Large Shield Protection for the Archers
4. Another set of Crusaders/Saracens climbing a ladder.

Thank you for a great series so far.

The additional tents are always welcome and can be used for many different periods and locations in Medieval history.
Agree that more camp followers would add realism to displays and certainly more siege equipment. Crusader crossbow men are really needed since the early versions are very scarce nowadays.

I would not mind some variety on my carrier deck so would prefer a torpedo plane or dive bomber in lieu of another zero.... plus some guidance on this new series ie more planes, figures, carrier tower or US forces at Pearl in the works would be helpful to determine space to allocate to this line.

Our P40: If I ever get around to it I’d like to see a K&C “Pearl Harbor” P40 or even a Russian “lend-lease” version...Any thoughts Guys...?

I like both concepts... would buy both...

“Last Two Crusader Tents” “Templar” from Denmark opined “Dear God! Let this be the last two Crusader Tents!”

I am one of those doing a camp scene; however some camp followers would be a good call as already mentioned in this thread. I am currently doing 3 crusader themes ie fall of Acre, camp life and the battle of Hattin so room for everything.... lol GOD WILLS IT!

I would very much like to see the third Zero done, and wouldn't mind a Sakai version. I would LOVE a Pearl Harbor P-40B (maybe Ken Taylor's 'White 155' or George Welch's 'White 160' of the 47th PS) and would definitely buy it, along with the Zero. Not so much interested in the Russian lend-lease version. Terrific ideas to do further versions of these two iconic fighters. -- Al

I love the tents, but will use them for the jousting theme.

Hi Andy,

Got to say, Old Bill is spot on with his comment about those Uhlans, love mine!

Andy 100% agree with Wayne .... YES a third Zero and fourth Zero and ........ would be great.

Also you might consider a Val and Kate and more ...... as well as additional Carrier deck personnel.
Also maybe a deck tractor and other deck "furniture" .... oh the possibilities.

Any hint on a diorama piece just as a carrier deck and tower section .....

Further Japanese Naval aircraft like the Val or Kate would be fantastic but I find myself wondering if they are doable in the polystone that is currently used. Both the Kate and the Val are quite a bit larger, especially wingspan, than the fighter aircraft that KC has been doing. The Kate would have quite a bit of unsupported wing with the Val a little less so. I can't recall all the polystone fighter aircraft KC has made, but the P-47 might be the largest and both the Val and Kate are bigger in wingspan, the Kate about 18% or so. Can they be done? -- Al

Andy,

Before you did a 3rd Zero would be a great idea to continue with the Tora Tora Tora theme and do a Kate.

That way those of us interested in doing a Carrier DIO will have another of the planes used at Pearl Harbour.

Regards
Mark

Andy, as long as we are talking about more Zeroes and the possibility of Nates and Vals, how about the very neat Mitsubishi A5M Claude? It was a huge contributor in China and at Nomonhan, plus some early war action in the Pacific. -- Al

Dear Andy:

Any chance of adding more figures/sets to your "Surrender of Singapore" on 15 February 1942 by the British Army series that you started not too long ago?

I would be happy to buy additional figures to include the "missing" British Brigadier General walking beside Gen. Perceval, more escorting Japanese Army troops, etc.

Great idea... Personally I think the whole FOB concept should be rethought... it was suppose to fill out other early war areas or theatres not covered in other major lines.... Personally I was not a big fan of the whole home front concept but that is just me. I promised I will not do another rant for polish cavalry {eek3} But I am guess there is only so much resources and especially when building out new lines ie English Civil War etc. Still hopeful that FOB we be revisited and get back to its roots

It would make a even better scene
