Hi Guys,

Many thanks to all those who spotted the “mystery vehicle” in the photo.

As we all could have guessed it was the “eagle-eyed Mitch” who got the correct answer…It is indeed the “Valentine Dingo Humber Mark II”. Congratulations Mitch…what a card you are! Always ready with a merry little quip and a friendly pat-on-the-back…Well done Mitch!

Best wishes and happy collecting.

P.S. Here’s a pic of the vehicle…

Nice little unit, can find room to store this. Not seen this one before in my travels, but being small easily missed I guess.{sm4}, Robin.

Well done to Carlo well figured out does he get a prize.......................^&grin
Agree Robin this will look good in a Dio,or repainted as a captured version.

Thanks Andy!!! Always a pleasure to hear from you. As has been said very recently By Warrior elsewhere in a land we cannot speak of??? one can only work with the material that is placed before them.

You get or your company products get a lot of praise from me when they are good (more than the critique) and when you go off in the realms of fantasy or are wrong then expect on a forum where we discuss the products and people know their onions (as the saying goes) to have them aired.

oh by the way! Nice armoured car

Best
Mitch

Neat looking scout...... A question......The name Dingo has been used a few times on small scout armored cars on this forum.....the small fast scout called a Dingo on here I knew as a Ferret ...it was called a ferret by the Brit Armored Corp tp attch to my unit during the last year of the Malaya Emergency......am I getting the vehicle's mixed up ? I have been puzzled by this for some time.....different "nicknames" for the same vehicle ?...regards TomB

Great future release! No doubt it will be joining my russkies along with their T-34's...{sm4}

Can anyone tell what the Russian slogan says? It's not "My Other Tank Is An IS-2" {sm4}

Terry

No, it says "Rent this vehicle for 5 Rubles a Day" {eek3}

Got to say Andy Mitch made me laugh with his post, also bit sad if you can't take a joke don't you think ?

I think the slogan on the armoured car is supposed to be ВПЕРЕД ЗАПАД which is supposed to be "FORWARD WEST" or "ONWARD WEST" and is a paraphrase of Horace Greely (NY Tribune) who said Go West, young man, go West and grow up with the country. Karl Marx was the eastern correspondent for the Tribune and made Horace very popular in Russia. The slogan was also popularized by the 1935 John Wayne movie ВПЕРЕД Ha ЗАПАД "Westward Ho" :)

Agreed. One of my absolute favourite things about K&C is their propensity to make obscure pieces for us collectors. ^&cool I can't imagine many of us have even heard or seen this particular vehicle before yet for the diehard eastern front collector this must be an exciting opportunity. As its not a mainstream piece the market and correspondingly the sales aren't likely to be stellar so I believe they do it for their passion for history and the collector. :salute::

I agree...Andy/k&C are spot on with producing obscure AFV's...Maybe the thing that really separates them from everybody else...I absolutely loved the 38t release, now this...getting one for sure , looks great !

Hi Guys,

It would seem, according to both “UK Subs” and “Damian” that only “Mitch” is allowed to have a sense of humor when talking about K&C.

Best wishes and nothing sad about it!

Where did I say that Andy ? Would not say your reply to Mitch was a joke more like one of your dig at him that you do when he say something you don't like .

I meant to reply earlier but was out. However, I didn't see anything malicious in Andy's post, more a little fun than anything else. Think we're reading too much into it otherwise.
