Interesting analogy and, we probably do take for granted the fact that these sets just turn up month after month but, its not like andy makes the sets himself in some chinese factory. I think if he stated its a hard process and, TG has found out how hard this process can be this discussion would not be taking place.

TG has found out how hard it is for reasons we don't fully know but, as stated the planes are still coming out in both variants very soon. It probably is a hard business but, the comments were unecessary.

What's wrong with a few snarky comments among competitors? It seems perfectly natural to me, and a pleasant relief from the encroaching demands for constant politically correctness.

Need anyone be reminded, the economy is tight and discretionary spending, which this hobby relies on, has been decimated. At the same time the number of toy solider companies vying for those same but fewer dollars/pounds/etc has greatly increased (CS/TG/FL/JJ/etc). For the folks running any of those companies its not "just a hobby". Its very serious business -- not to mention a livelihood. Only the naive are surprised when such tensions show themselves at times.

When times are good and there is enough largesse for everyone, combatants may not feel the heat so much. Now is not that time. The "easy money" has been made. It will be a slog-fest among the providers from now on. Especially given the very subdued nature of the so-called "recovery",

With every purchase we all cast votes as to our preferences. That speaks with the loudest voice of all.

If times are tough and you're a manufacturer who still makes it pretty well, then sit back and enjoy what you are doing but do not come up with smart talk or low shots about competitor's products. It's just not class and a successful businesman should know that.
