1/30 scale WW2 German Tiger tank (1 Viewer)

I bought an interesting 1/30 scale WW2 German Tiger tank from a Militaria shop near my house last week.
Made by Eagle Designs #GO 59. The tank markings S11 indicate it was used in Kursk campaign.
As you can see, it is very similar in size to the War Park TIKI Kursk Tiger.

One problem is the top circular Hatch is stuck and will NOT open.
Any ideas how to loosen it so it will open?
I do not want to break or damage anything.

And what are your thoughts positive or negative on this Tiger?

Yeah great model, however the TG & K&C figures look too big scale wise and you should try using either First Legion, Warpark, Britains or JJD figures instead?
