been doing this on and off for a few months, used the inside of a old set of draws for the base , got the foilage from a local poundshop

Nice to see something not that common.Be great if someone put out a Dien Bien Phu range.

first of all thanks for your kind comments
2nd the pine cone i have no idea , my 9 yr old daughter said it looked like something in the jungle
3rd , a dien bein phu set up would be good , i did think of using some us marine figure and painting them in Foreign Legion colours

i also like nam stuff , loved tour of duty , got some classics on dvd , boys in company c, 84 charlie mopic , how sleep the brave

Those were the giant ,"Choi Duc Oi",,cones that only were found along the Nung river,,,My C O ,Col Kurtz wrote a paper on them in later years.
