I think I may dive into the 1:72 scale pool. there are alot of great looking little guys out there in various planes/tanks ...and at a reasonable price, really like the hobby master, as well as Dragoon, but really 2-3 other really nice companies making these little beauties, anyone else collect them?...Sammy

I did collect them but i sold them all last year. There is also 1:50 scale which has some nice models.

Sammy,
There are several companies that sell 1/72nd scale diecast planes and tanks; Dragon, Hobby Master, Panzerstahl and Blitz72 to name afew, I carry them all.

I do really well with these at the wargaming shows as 1/72nd scale/20mm is a very popular scale to game in for WWII, Korea, Vietnam and Modern conflicts.

I also have several customers who are diecast fanatics and buy basically one of everything that comes out, there is some beautiful stuff being made in this scale for sure, everything from tanks to jeeps to trucks to halftracks to armored cars to Amtracs, some great stuff that takes up very little display room.................

I have 100 or so AFV's, most diecast, some kits assembled painted. Terrain, troops, need a good home.

Soviet, Normandy British , American German.

My only 1/72 collection,
I prefer 28mm 1/56

In earlier times I got into 1/72 for the economy of it,50 cents for aircraft and armor, then shortly after the scale of it letting en masse in numbers etc,,enjoying scratch building,,the ease of materials,,card stock,,economy of parts,,rocco mini tanks from 25 cents,,I undertook a huge armor program,in later years amassing a large army of figures ,,all nations time periods..then as in life the big hammer came down,my collection room ravaged by a hurricane ,A few figures survived,,most of the armor and a few damaged aircraft,,everything else a loss,,some armor and aircraft repair ,additions over the years but never the same.but always a tender spot for the scale
