I'd like to have stayed at Major, regardless of the count. The rank has a sentimental attachment for me--I played the Major in a production of "The Mousetrap".

Wow 10 years, remembering some of the past posts/threads that come to mind here a few from a blast from the past

1. John Gamble want list...those lists just never get old, keep it real John, you know one day Andy will hook you up ^&grin

2. "nice dio"...infamous phrase caught on world wide by my buddy Mitch, he doesn't post here lately, but gotta admit that little catch phrase made me chuckle more then once.

3. Rob and the K&C monthly "what's coming" thread...I always loved it, and most as well and it was and still is always fun to throw your ideas out there to see if you are right.

4. the thoughts and opinions of one Harryheid...if I could pick one guy to host a talk show it would be Harry, not one to hold his tongue or opinions, got to say he was one of the first members who responded to me as a rook here on the forum.

5. who will ever forget the "who is better thread of K&C vs. FL...funny thing is i started that thread when I was a die hard K&C collector and man did it take off, if I remeber over 50-60 deleted posts, name calling, hate mail, death threats, ^&grin that one was hilarious, calmer heads now prevail, besides we know FL is better!!..JUST KIDDN!!!!!!

6. dudes I miss...Capitalron, Louis, Harry, Ozdigger, Easy, (Rob right now) I'm sure there are more but just a few off top of my head.

7. What I enjoy the most in my 8 years on this forum is being able to get away from the hectic world outside and converse will the fellas here on most any topic, sometimes sports, books, but mainly the love of my most enjoyable hobbies of collecting Toy soldiers, I hope I'm lucky enough to collect for another 8 years and share my views here on Treefrog,..... Tip of the hat to Treefrog and all the members here on board...Sammy
