Thanks Brett, and no it was made from timber off cuts not a candlestick holder.Wayne,
I wont argue with Jack but pretty sure he has counted wrong{sm4}. I think he should go back through your posts and check.
Dont often call the better half over to look at the forum but did with this one and she was pretty impressed (OK she does not see too much of this forum so does not know all your tricks).
As always great use of figures and we were trying to work out what the monument was in its non toy soldier existence. Candlestick holder ?
Have a good day.
Regards
Brett
Like your road to mate.
Very nice Wayne .
In one and a half hour I go to the real thing . The 11 Nov celebrations in honour of all the allied soldiers that fought and died on Belgian soil, but especially in honour of our King ALbert I and his wife Queen Elisabeth who spent 4 years in the battle zone . The queen helped as a nurse in the military hospital in the coastal town of La Panne where also King Albert had his headquarters of the Belgian troops. He is therefor called the "King Soldier"
guy :smile2:
Thanks Chaps.Very nice Wayne, an excellent tribute to the soldier's who lost there lives defending all of us :salute::
